Site check first
Before talking colours we check the basics: frame, braces, flanges at the inlets, pipework and plant room. If the pool loses water, we find the leak first, because a new liner over a dripping pipe makes no sense.
What usually changes
- Liner. The most visible part. See liner replacement and the membrane options.
- Pump and filter. A variable-speed pump uses far less power than an old single-speed one.
- Disinfection. Many owners switch to salt chlorination during a renovation.
- Lighting. Old halogen lights become LED in the same niches.
- Coping and deck. Cracked slabs and rotten boards are replaced together with the liner.
The right order
- Drain and remove the old liner.
- Repairs to frame, base and pipes.
- New inlets, lights and skimmers where needed.
- Underlay and new liner.
- Fill, plant room, commissioning.
- Coping and deck last, so trades do not walk on the new liner.

Pools we did not build
We also renovate prefab pools from other makers once we have seen the frame and the liner profile. Send photos of the coping, the plant room and the inside of the pool for a first view. The price is given on request, in writing.
